The helplessness and desperation soon led me to take action to change my situation and alleviate the pain that was affecting my quality of life so severely. That was my first incursion into massage therapy and pain relief through remedial sports massage.

I soon began studying massage techniques for knee pain, aiming to learn as much as possible about massage therapy for this condition. I was using myself as a guinea pig, experimenting with massage therapy techniques which would provide relief from the pain in my knee, which was severely affecting my life.
Being my experimental subject meant that I was able to understand first-hand the pressing need for relief from joint pain, which many of my clients experience today.
