Light touch muscle release therapy and the body electric

Techniques such as light touch muscle release therapy or acupuncture can be used to stimulate the flow of this bio-electrical life force, which is known in a traditional sense as Qi by balancing out the body at key points using the insertion of acupuncture needles.

As we know the body is more than just simple cells, muscles tissues and organs. Accessing the electrical activity that surrounds our cells and the flow of energy that surrounds us can be done with certain forms of therapies and martial art exercise. Just as our ancestors knew our cells give off an energy which can be translated to an electromagnetic field which surrounds our body.

Light touch muscle release therapy also called the Emmett Technique which can be used to influence muscle action and reset the bio-electromagnetic signals around our body’s muscle naturally.

The Emmett therapy is an understanding of the body’s response to light touch. The Emmett practitioner also uses verbal cues, to help make positive change into subconscious mind and reset the muscular balance and the energy field surrounding a body’s cells in the area of injuries right from their starting point in the brain.

The Brain computer analogy

A simple analogy to explain how the brain works is somewhat similar to computer software. The brain is a genuine multi-tasking, multi-thread processing unit and is very good at storing and collecting information.

Trained Emmett therapist can input commands into the software triggering a positive result. By stimulating the muscles and key points known as Emmett Points (EP) around the body the therapist is be able to stimulate the body to natural self- healing mechanism, while telling the brain to stop sending the signals that are creating the pain restriction and stiff symptoms in the first place. As result patients can quickly experience relieve from muscular pain and discomfort and increase range of movement without  analyzing how the injury ever happened…

My name is  Ben Pianese and I provide the Emmett Technique. I can provide a tailored healing treatment to each individual patient, so that you receive a unique treatment which is specially designed to help you manage your symptoms. My personal journey, which led to the creation of Massaggi, started from a knee injury which I suffered from as a young man. Seeking a solution and learning about different treatments and therapies got me interested in finding a way to alleviate muscle pain.

Background and experience

Coupled with my background as an electrical/electronic technician which gave me a window of to compare how the body works similar to an electrical circuit; sending bio electrical impulses to the muscles from the brain, and the composition of the electrical life force that flows across the cells of the body and beyond.  My background and experience led me to study many forms of sports massage and pain relief therapy and getting trained to become an expert in sports massage techniques.

Massaggi was born from my personal vision for a clinic in which massage and modern scientific techniques joined together in an individualized approach to massage therapy. This is the clinic as it stands today. In continuing with our approach of using innovative modern techniques, Massaggi recommends the Emmett light touch muscle release therapy, which has been proven to be one of the fastest working and most effective therapies for balancing electrical signal in the body’s muscle and brain with light touch to create instant relief from aches and pain and improving quality of life.
