Ben Pianese’s Journey To Heal

, Thursday, 12 January 2017

The journey to heal all started on an ice rink. Perhaps not the most exciting start, but as with all journeys, you have to start somewhere. An injured knee and lower back while trying a few new techniques on the ice was basically how it all started. It was not the brightest idea a person can have, but why not try new things? The pain had to be felt to be believed!

The old back injury had come back to haunt me, and after all those twists and turns on the cold surface, I had a locked knee. Back in an Italian hospital (the first port of call for any injury), the diagnosis was a lateral meniscus tear.

Surgery was necessary at the time when the torn meniscal cartilage was removed; a procedure called Arthroscopy of the knee. A long and arduous road to recovery had started physiotherapy and the faith in these medical experts to re-build what had been broken down; that was the idea anyway.

The years spent nursing these injuries gave the mind a new perspective. A profound shift in consciousness gave way to a new perception of reality and the self.

With this new awareness of self-exploration, the lost keys to open the door to a new dimension were found. The underlying causes of emotional and psychological pain restricted interconnectedness within and beyond the body. Since then, self-control has started. These days are filled with wonder and magic, and life is created in a conscious mind. Achieving full potential and fine-tuning and evolving techniques to a new level.

We do not dismiss conventional medical practices altogether, of course. We always recommend this type of therapy to all clients who would benefit from it; they just were not for Ben Pianese. He needed to find a way to reverse to move forward, so he looked into Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Sports massage, Thai massage, Bowen therapy, bioenergy treatment, etc., as alternatives.
We tend to think that doctors, osteopaths and physiotherapists know about pain, so we don’t have to be wrong. Adopting these alternative & complementary therapy methods gives an understanding and also an unlikely respect for pain. This newfound attitude to what was ailing Ben Pianese gave him the tools to heal effectively.

The questions started: Why Am I in Pain? Who Am I?

He believed that to stand out as a massage therapist, he had to fully understand the journey through the minefield called pain. With each careful step, he learned much, and it became apparent that he had processed a gift. He felt that something was missing, and so he ventured into the world of complementary therapies.

Excited at the prospect of seeking new ways to treat pain, he enrolled in a number of courses of massage and complementary therapies to achieve a deeper level of understanding. The door was there to be opened, and by transforming the negative into a positive, he was able to unlock the bolt and open the door to a whole new dimension. It all felt very natural and familiar. Had he been there before? Anything is possible.

For over 19 years, the research, study, and experience of many new proven scientific methods and ancient systems of knowledge, including massage, osteopathy, chiropractor, acupuncture, Rapha Yad bioenergy treatment, Theta healing, Access bars, Quantum Entrainment, Reconnective healing, and many other energetic healing modalities, have been a revelation.

There is no better place to start than the place within you, me, us. To service ourselves brings us closer to serving others.
